Details:

Primary Render Made In Vue4

Originally, the scene was made with a temple idea over a vast sea-- but after having some messing up done in the land structure and the addition of the floor-- a dragon scene was inevitable-- hence the finished render


- basic scene started with vue
- created custom atmosphere
- added terrain structures over ground
- added temple
- added floor base model
- compiled structural trees and deleted temple
- background was created using three different alpha planes mapped over the scene, indoor lighting was required to do this hence the trinity of lights up front
- added fountain, knightess with sword, and horse
- textures applied and grew vegetation all over the place
- the bg tower came in last and the slight mist on background

up to this point all has been good but the scene definitely lacks some magical effects and overall quality is still down some 50% -- so the other night the staff of otherworld was discussing things and i handed this over to ~zilla774

that's when things started to take shape :) (Smile)



notes from ~zilla774

1) Dirtied up the floor textures, added more cracks and broken parts to make it more uneven and realistic.
2) added Bones and skulls etc...
3) added detailing to the fountain base, incl. the cracked dirt and stuff blow up against it to give it a sense of desolation.
4) Added depth and textures to the Fountain in general, chipped rock for the base, and a pseudo-marble / weathered rock feel on the statues.
5) Enhanced the water, adding splashes and mist. also fireflies on top.
6) Added character shadows for the Horse and knightess.
7) Added Blood on the floor, and cuts and gashes on the dragon.
8) (Cool) enhanced the dragons head which was originally very dark. added blood trickles and smoke curling out of the nostrils
9) enhanced light splashes and shadowing on the dragon
10) Enhanced the Sword glow, adding a flare and increasing contrast on figure.
11) Minor scene tweaks to colour and contrast
12) Fixed minor render glitches

- added some dynamic hair and movement over the horse figure and darkened some blood thingys

im sorry, but this is does not qualify as scenery. scenery is supposed to be things that a person might actually see. this is science fictional fantasy
